I've been looking for a good fixie to buy but everywhere I look they are like $700-$2000 and I'm not spending that much on a bike...any ideas on where I can find some for cheap?

Well since you don't say how cheap you need to be its hard to tell ya anything. You might be better off buying a good used mountain bike and converting it to a single speed.

Well, "good" and "cheap" are sort of mutally exclusive terms... in other words, if it's good, it ain't gonna be cheap and, well, you get the rest...

That having been said, try eBay. I bought a nice brand-new Windsor fixie on eBay for under $300 bucks, and, while it's not suitable for competition on the velodrome, it's a rock-solid bomb-proof fixie for road riding and I like it a lot!

Good luck, and the link below is to the Track Bike department on eBay...

You can go to http://www.performancebike.com. They have fixie's that are freewheel and fixed for around $200 - $300. They are great bikes. Another place that is nice is http://www.republicbike.com. You can make your own fixie for $400. They have a bunch of different colors.
